I rise and relax not realizing that keeping Michael's secret was putting a strain on me. I search the room for Anthemios and Paul.

You find the two Muses talking animatedly.
"Dear Sir Roland!" exclaims Paul. "How wonderful the nights have become now that our Sire walks them again! And the miracle of Antonius' resurrection or not having been dead..."
Anthemios adds, "I think the return of the Dracon is the greatest marvel, but the Lady Chrysalia always said he would come back somenight."

"I am pleased as well. To be here during such a dramatic moment! So, do the two of you attribute your change in attitude to the Archangel's return?"

"Oh, it is certain!" exclaims Paul. "He must have been restored to his right mind before he collected the others of the Triumvirate, so that must have been the time in which we came back to ourselves."

"Well then friends, it is time for us to continue our work on The Dream, yes? Any thoughts as to what's next?"

"We follow their lead!" exclaims Anthemios. "The Dream cannot help but prosper while they are awake and active!"

"Well, I can tell you I'm making good headway at the Kynegion. Next on to Blachernae Palace I hope. So, will I be working with Gallasyn there? With whom was Gregorius working?"

I step up to the conversation. "Forgive the intrusion, Sir Roland, but I have a question about your dances. They seem to be... stuck on a single theme, and though I am no artist, I've begun to see the rather, well, monomaniacal effect on the mortals who view or participate in your dances. Is it your intention to affect people so? Are you trying to send some kind of message?"

"In some way yes. In my mind, good art not only touches on the aesthetic but says something about the world. And it tries to make the world a better place. What theme have you identified if you don't mind me asking?"

I sigh and shrug, chuckling a little in embarrassment as I glance at the Muses. "Actually, I don't know. I cannot identify the theme, only that you are clearly set on a single idea throughout. That far I can see, as I am an ambitious Cainite with but one thought in my mind."

"And what thought is that Sir Diocles?"

I cock my head to one side and peer at Sir Roland. "Well, honestly, to reclaim the Latin Quarter from the Latins. Byzantium will never be strong again unless the streets are ruled by Byzantines, not foreigners."

"I have heard that the Latin Quarter is full of those who would like to see the city fall. Is this true?"

I nod. "Carrion, we call them. They stalk the streets and respect neither domain nor herd, feeding wherever they wish. I have vowed to eradicate them, and I shall." I keep more tight lipped about the Latin Lasombra leadership in mixed, social company.

"Well, the social order must be maintained in all things. Let me know if I can be of assistance to you in this. The low-born and outsiders must know their place."
