The Obertus Tzimisce Organization: Organized around their spiritual leader, Gesu, they control the monasteries of Constantinople. They were attacked for their worship of icons in the Iconoclastic conflict. Symeon and his childe Myca do not cloister themselves but instead are concerned with matters outside the monastery walls. Relations With Other Families: Distance and distrust between them and other Families, except for the Michaelite Toreador, who respect Gesu and his followers for their devotion. Relations With Outsiders: Gesu is interested in outsiders only if they are willing to worship him. Symeon is interested in outsiders who are medical or scientific scholars.

The Baron's Gangrel
Organization: One of the largest families, but most members don't reside in Constantinople, instead securing trade routes and being engaged in missions. Baron Thomas gives his childer freedom, but their main responsibility is protection of the monasteries. Feudal organization. Relations With Other Families: Thomas still angry about losing power in the Latin Quarter and blames the weak Ventrue for the city's current woes. Thomas is forging an alliance with the Nosferatu and Brujah, hoping to keep the city from falling. Relations With Outsiders: Always attracted Cainites with honor and bravery, and their feudal organization gives a sense of belonging. The Latin Cainites are the Baron's principal foes.
