The evening has come, and seats at the Bosan have been purchased. Since Jax was in charge of the purchase, they are excellent seats, on the balcony just near the stage, the best seats in the house. You all have a perfect view of the stage.
Jax, along with his Dominus, Danal, and Caoimhghin, Anak-Sa'ir, and as many of his troupe as are free for the evening, are all meeting in front of the Bosan Auditorium.
"The Silver Bow" is opening tonight, and the crowds are pressing around you.
(Anak-Sa'ir, roll Perc+Alertness)
"Dominus," says Jax. "Here are the tokens for entrance."

I had the famous Grobel & Son make a léine-style tunic for me especially for my first appearance at the Bosan. Like any other tunic, it goes down nearly to my knees and is belted at the waist, but unlike the Skenje tunic, it is has more volume to it. Much roomier, with an open split collar and a long hanging sleeve, opening at the bend of the elbow. This tunic is the purest white, and the hose I wear with it match the belt: gold. The slippers, too, are white. My long red hair is pulled back in a stylish bun that has been laboriously sculpted to make it look like I just tied it back hastily.
"Good evening, friends," I say with a smile to my companions.

Jax looks at Caoimhghin but says nothing. The look seems ominous (to Caoimhghin) and admiring (to others).

You, Anak-Sa'ir, catch a glimpse, just for an instant, of that beautiful doll-like face with its ancient eyes, and then he is gone...
"Will you not all be seated, Masters?" asks Jax, distributing the seating tokens.

I take whatever seat I'm supposed to take. I assume Danal gets first pick, but these balcony box seats are perfect for viewing all the stage.

All the seats are assigned, with Danal at one end, Jax standing beside him, then Caoimhghin, then Petronius, then Anak-Sa'ir.
There is an empty seat on the far side of Anak-Sa'ir...

I lean in and whisper in the Zenji's ear. "Anak-Sa'ir, will you get your name, Petronius to switch with me. Let him sit next to Lord Danal so that we can sit together. Who knows? We may want to share comments during the performance. Compare notes, as it were."

I scan the room getting a sense of who is in attendance. Specifically I'm looking for nobles who seem cozy. I understand politics but have never liked it and sigh inwardly that it's becoming something to which I need to give attention. (Danal has been a bit quiet. He is dressed in his normal citizen's garb with his library badge. However, his hair seems a bit unkempt.)

I nod, indicate this to Petronius, and then whisper something in his ear. ST, I will message you in Discord.

Petronius rises and bows to Caoimhghin. "Please, take my spot." He sits in Caoimhghin's vacated chair, next to Danal.
The play, "The Silver Bow", begins soon after.
Danal: roll Wits+Politics to determine the politics of the play, and Wits+Alertness to find any nobility in the audience.
Caoimhghin: roll Cha+Expression to determine the quality of the play, and Wits+Alertness to find the playwright in the audience.
Anak-Sa'ir: roll Cha+Expression to determine the quality of the play, and Wits+Alertness to notice anyone in particular...

Caoimhghin
You are able to find the playwright, sitting with three well-dressed men. Two are Jarad, the the third Skenje. They are all between 30 and 40. The playwright, dressed flamboyantly in blue tunic and blue sandals, with a shimmering silver wig on his head, is Skenje, too. He is pretty, though not quite as pretty as you and Anak-Sa'ir, but flirting outrageously with the three well-dressed men. He is probably about twenty-five or so.
The play is much better than the plot. The plot is simple thing, about a village in peril because of a great curse, and their only salvation is to find the one who can draw the silver bow and shoot his arrow into the cursed carcass of a bird hanging above the village center. But the poetry, and especially the character of the fool, lift the little nonsense piece into art.

Though I know the playwright does not see me, my lip curls at the sight of him, and I roll my eyes at the art of his poetry. And as for that wig... I confess it's a good idea, one I probably would've thought of if I didn't have such beautiful red hair. No reason to hide my lovely tresses under a wig, especially here in Nirrion where I can trade on my Elunian hues!
