You impress the listeners with your song, and the young Grorekathi ladies are sighing and batting their eyelashes at you. The males are making eyes, too, but it seems Aethyl is strangely opposite-sex aligned.

Dusinicus begins to sing in unison with the mighty cousins as he downs more beer. Hs dances and drinks to his great homeland: Nirrion and to all of the adventures that lay before them!

A party is had by all, and you, Cian, feel that the Grorekathi have a natural affinity for you.

Drusinicus remains somber over the death of his close friend, Cian. Much has happened to him and his companions over the past week, which has been most unsettling to him. Drusinicus begins to think aloud of his close death regardless of who hears.. His soliloquy is as follows: "I have sent many a foe to their own grave and destruction without a thought of an afterlife. I should be dead and have pierced the veil into the netherworld myself. I could actually see myself hovering above my lifeless, bloody body as those around me kept fighting in anguish. Somehow, I knew I was crossing over into this nether-region where all souls must go? Still, this transition was peaceful as I resigned myself to certain death - I had accepted death and knew my life on this world was no longer - but death itself I surprisingly did not fear. Perhaps I was spared by the gods for untold reasons for this experience will surely haunt me." Drusincus drinks his beer in quiet solitude fighting waves of emotion between mourning his friend and the introspecting his own mortality.

A traveler steps up to your table in the common room of the Hooded Falcon. "Pardon me, stranger, but is this seat taken?" You have two empty chairs at your table as you sit, drinking alone, lost in memory.

"If you are need of rest, you may sit; however, I am not sure I am god company to keep at this moment. My mind is weary and my mood is low."

The stranger sits. He is dark of eye and hair, and his skin is dark of hue, though not black. "That is well, for I am not one for needless conversation. But I could not help but see that you are in pain. It distresses me to see another suffering."

You do so, and he smiles. "Thanks!" He swigs half the ale. "Would you be interested in something stronger than ale, something to ease your pain even more?"

"At this point, yes - anything to ease my lowly spirit."
